How many of you have woken up and didn’t feel sick, but just didn’t feel good? I mean ’emotionally’ good. Some of you might not even realize that you don’t feel joyful, vibrant, and expansive!
Most people get up every day with the same thoughts as yesterday and the same triggers and emotions that they have felt for days.
70 percent of the population is continually in ‘stress’ mode, continually living daily with the same emotions, thoughts, and actions. The brain and the body, which is the subconscious, are hard-wired to the past, and if you think about it in the way of a ‘habit’, which takes 21 days to form. An action or thought that you think about for a long period over 21 days then becomes hard-wired and innate. The sub-conscious will know the routine of the emotions, thoughts, and actions more than the ‘conscious’ mind.
So, what happens when we are in ‘stress’ mode continually? We are on alert and our focus goes to the ‘outside’ and we look at “what’s about to come or happen.” So, now we are looking and focused on the future and the future is being created by our past. Nothing ever changes because we are continually and consistently being ourselves.
We have spent years consistently living in the past, with the subconscious leading our lives never really being aware of the present of the low frequencies within our bodies, with the habitual emotions of pain, suffering, lack, fear, survival, or waiting for something outside of ourselves to feel happy, fulfilled, gratitude or love.
I know I have heard successful people tell me that they are ‘laser-focused’ on something and they are driven to accomplish an ‘end’ goal. They don’t realize the anxiety they feel daily is not a good thing and yet it’s an emotion that they possibly may be addicted to because it’s familiar, comfortable, and what they know.
Dr. Joe Dispenza says “Your personality creates your reality” so then the only way to feel better is to become someone different. I know when I first heard this I thought “What, you want me to just change who I am!” I get it now though. A person’s personality is essentially the way they think, feel and their actions they regularly do.
So, if you want to feel better then it makes sense that you will have to change something. You have to then become more aware of the thoughts that you are thinking and any kind of change is going to feel uncomfortable.
I can give you a really good example of this. I don’t own a TV, I haven’t for over 10 years but I do like to watch Gordon Ramsay in the evening on my laptop and I watched one episode of Kitchen Nightmares and as I watched I thought “Wow, what a great example of how a thought keeps us living in the past!” There was one man who bought the family restaurant from his father and he had some losses and he was about to lose the business. Gordon Ramsay went in and this man was so angry, crying every time he spoke, you could see his suffering. This man had the continual thought every day that he was a failure, he was letting his Dad and his family down. So every morning this man woke up to that same thought as the day before, and to the point where he was at the brink of a mental health crisis.
All it takes is to change that thought, to become aware of the emotion that you are habitually feeling every day and the thoughts that you constantly think about day in and day out. So let’s go over 5 steps that will help you to feel better. By the way, I created these five steps which can be done in 5 minutes every day and I do guarantee that you may do the 5-minute Method for a week maybe less before you will want to spend more than 5 minutes doing this. If you just did this for 5 minutes a day, every day you would feel better. Here are the 5 steps:
- Sit and close your eyes – Center yourself, take 4 deep inhalations through the nose, and breathe out slowly through the mouth.
- Now, take another deep breath and bring it up to the top of the head. Squeeze from the perineum, and stomach and hold it. Do this 3 times
- Tap each Energy Center twice from just above your pubic area, under the belly button, above the belly button, your chest, your throat gently, between your eyes, and the top of your head. Now take another breath, pulling the energy from the lower energy centers up to the top of the head. Squeeze again and release the breath slowly.
- Place your right hand over your heart and just feel your breath rise and fall naturally. Picture an event that happened that brought you so much joy, and so much gratitude, and hold that picture in your mind. Stay in that moment. Now picture your future self, whatever that image may look like. Are you healthy, in a relationship, your perfect weight, wealth, taking a holiday, whatever it is see that picture, feel the emotion. In fact, you don’t even need to focus on a picture of material things just feel that emotion that you want to feel.
- Now, while you are in an elevated state, we want to ‘anchor’ that emotion. So, if you are at home doing this you can put on some headphones and play an uplifting song, you know your favorite song or just clap your hands together and say “Done.”
That’s it, that’s all you have to do. Quick, simple, and effective. Here’s what you’ve just accomplished in Five minutes. First off, with the first step, you have just slowed down your brain waves. When you are in the ‘stress’ response then your brain waves are all over the place. You are looking outside yourself preparing for something bad to happen to you. So, in this first step, you slowed down your brain waves, and your nervous system begins to regulate. Now you have just started a plethora of health and healing benefits not to mention the clarity you now have.
With the second step, you have pulled up the energy from the bottom centers which are the centers of survival, up to the top of the head which is the center of divinity, clear thinking, and connection to source. When squeezing the perineum, and more, you cause the spinal fluid to be pushed up to the pineneal gland which then activates it and now you’ve just opened up your third-eye and tapped into your intuition.
With the third step you have pulled and in a sense, cleared the energy centers as you bring them up and wake them up with the tapping. This will activate those energy centers. These energy centers also have biological functions and when they are stagnant or have stuck energy you can operate more in survival response, have low self-esteem, and eventually illness. So activating them gets them moving so that energy won’t get stuck.
With the fourth step you changed your state and have an elevated emotion along with a vision of your future self or with the future emotion that you wish to experience. Now you will begin to see because neurochemically you have changed your biology and changed your brainwaves, you will begin to see syncronisities and opportunities open up and come into your life.
The fifth step anchors that state, that emotion and this routine, method, meditation and you have created the emotion ahead of the outcome which in turn brings that outcome quicker.
