Anxiety is a common diagnosis among people of all ages. Anxiety doesn’t discriminate against background or ethnicity, in fact, anxiety and mood disorder is the number one most common mental health diagnosis in Canada and the United States.
Some of the symptoms you may experience include: dizziness, inability to sit still, shakey hands, irritability, moodiness, isolation, and moodiness.
You may also suffer from panic attacks that occur out of the blue for no apparent reason. Some symptoms that may occur are: racing mind, pounding heartbeat, excessive sweating, habitual thoughts of negativity, and feelings of impending doom.
PTSD or CPTSD also brings about symptoms such as; being easily startled, always being on guard for danger, self-destructive behavior such as drinking too much or driving too fast, trouble sleeping or concentrating, irritability, angry outbursts, or aggressive behavior.
It doesn’t have to be like this though and you don’t have to suffer or take medication. There is a process I call The Body/mind assessment and mapping that will help you to become clear and be able to understand the science of anxiety and The B.M.A. and mapping along with Cognitive Behavior Therapy can help you understand the physiology of anxiety, the mind and how it works in the body and then implement changes now to live free from anxiety and pain. My program is like taking my hand as I walk along beside you every step of the way. You can do this and I have your back.
